Job Overview:

We are seeking an Intermediate Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, stakeholders, and other developers to enhance system functionality, improve business processes, and support the overall goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development and Customization: Design, develop, and customize Business Central solutions to meet business needs, including coding extensions, creating integrations, and modifying existing functionalities.
  • Technical Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand technical requirements, analyze system capabilities, and design appropriate solutions within Business Central.
  • System Integration: Develop and implement integrations between Business Central and other applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct unit testing, resolve defects, and provide ongoing support to ensure high-quality deliverables. Troubleshoot technical issues and implement timely fixes.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement, optimizing code and processes to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, design specifications, and user guides, ensuring clear communication of development work.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest Business Central features, development best practices, and industry trends to continually enhance skills and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, IT professionals, and cross-functional teams to support project goals and deliver successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in developing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in AL language, C/AL, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with Business Central development tools, including Visual Studio Code and Git version control.
  • Strong understanding of Business Central modules, workflows, and architecture.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and data integration techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other data analytics tools is a plus.
