As a Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for creating and executing on marketing strategies that drives meaningful relationships with our B2C prospects and customers. The incumbent will be both creative and well-versed in a wide variety of marketing areas, including content, community, and lifecycle marketing. The Director of Marketing will lead in the development, implementation, and execution of specific marketing plans. The incumbent will assume responsibility for building and implementing marketing programs, monitor customer needs, and evaluating the effectiveness of the various marketing initiatives. The Director of Marketing will initially have at least 1 direct report and will be responsible for building a best-in-class marketing team to support the growth of this business until. This individual must be a “player coach” and be prepared to be a strategic leader and execute on the strategy when needed. Build and own the marketing process, including product marketing, strategy development, community building,content marketing and lifecycle marketing. Own the brand voice, tone, editorial style, and content guidelines across the marketing team. Leverage ETS’s massive body of peer-reviews academic papers to create digestible pieces of content that helpETS become the defining voice. Lead our blog and other publishing channels, including the operational management, editorial calendar, storyselection and development, production, publishing, optimization, promotion, and results reporting. Manage our website copy and content with copywriting and design;email marketing, and product marketing #LI-NK1 #LI-REMOTE Expertise building engaging online communities and creating content marketing based on data and research.? Advanced writing and editing skills, and a high bar for quality.? A collaborative approach, teaming across functions and with partners. Experience re-purposing existing content into new content types for use in diverse channels.? An understanding of modern CMS and UX; ability to supervise content creation on AEM, Wordpress, etc.). Experience setting and measuring performance against content and channel metrics.? Detailed knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO, funnel analytics, communitymanagement, etc. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Excellent aptitude for detail and accuracy and analytical skills.
