**Job Summary**

Core Clinical Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our emergency medicine services across a 3-hospital market in Augusta, GA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to our team of over 50 emergency medicine physicians and advanced practice providers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Leadership and Management:**
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care, safety, and satisfaction across all three campuses.
    • Oversee and support a team of over 50 full-time clinicians, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that promotes high standards of clinical care and professional growth.
  • **Operational Oversight:**
    • Ensure efficient and effective operations of the emergency departments at our three hospitals, with a focus on quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • **Clinical Excellence:**
    • Maintain the highest standards of emergency medical care across all campuses.
    • Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
    • Facilitate ongoing education, training, and professional development for clinical staff.
  • **Stakeholder Engagement:**
    • Collaborate with hospital administration, department heads, and other stakeholders to align emergency medicine services with overall organizational goals.
    • Represent the emergency medicine department in meetings, committees, and community outreach activities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians, specialists, and external partners.

**Qualifications:**

  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine.
  • Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in emergency medicine.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
