Position Overview:

As the Director of FP&A, you will be a key leader within our client's finance team, responsible for overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes. You will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial insights to drive business performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads and senior management to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership, highlighting key trends and variances.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve FP&A processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting tools; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to see the big picture while managing the details.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in [specific industry, if applicable] is a plus.
