Overview:
The Financial Analyst in Fiscal Services plays a crucial role in supporting the Director of Finance in ensuring the financial integrity of the organization’s Operating and Capital Budgets. This position involves collaborating in the preparation and submission of the annual budget documentation and generating monthly analytical reports for departmental review.
The analyst will consolidate and evaluate financial information, aligning it with the organization’s objectives and fiscal health.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Proficient financial analytical capabilities.
- Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- BA/BS Degree.
- Experience in healthcare financial management.
- Background in budgeting processes.
- Demonstrated competencies in Customer Service and Professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports as needed.
- Support Accounts Payable operations and resolve issues.
- Assist Department Directors with financial evaluations.
- Conduct audits of petty cash funds.
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage quarterly property tax payments and reporting.
- Perform monthly expense assessments and submit necessary journal entries.
- This role encompasses responsibilities across multiple facilities.
