In the capacity of Vice President of Financial Strategy, you will serve as a pivotal member of our finance leadership team, responsible for directing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical functions. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Spearhead the annual budgeting and forecasting initiatives, ensuring they align with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Strategic Insights: Deliver comprehensive financial analyses and insights to support key strategic initiatives and critical business decisions.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Business Collaboration: Work closely with department leaders and senior executives to provide financial insights and guidance.
- Reporting: Generate and present financial reports to executive management, emphasizing significant trends and variances.
- Process Optimization: Continuously refine financial planning and analysis processes, systems, and tools to boost efficiency and precision.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, cultivating a culture of excellence and ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting tools; advanced proficiency in Excel is essential.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to balance high-level vision with detailed execution.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant industry practices is advantageous.
