Responsibilities: Design and develop automated solutions for cloud-based infrastructure, such as scripts and code to provision and configure resources. Implementing and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes for cloud-based infrastructure. Ensure that changes are tested, approved, and deployed in an automated and secure manner. Ensure that cloud-based infrastructure is maintained and optimized. Monitor performance, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues, and make necessary changes to optimize system performance. Ensure that cloud-based infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements. Work with IT security and compliance teams to implement security and compliance controls and ensure that they are being followed. Collaborate with other IT teams, including developers, operations, and security teams to ensure that cloud-based infrastructure meets the organization’s requirements and can support its goals. Manage and maintain an IT enterprise of Virtual Machine environments (Nutanix or VMware) hosting MS Windows servers, Linux environments, and Citrix VDI services. Create supporting documentation and utilize self-documenting scripting/coding techniques for service consumers as well as business users to be able to understand your products. Identify and diagnose complex performance, security, and technical issues. #divergent Here’s what you’ll need: Active TS/SCI or SCI eligibility Current DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) required (such as CCNA Security, Security CE, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP). At least 15 years of IT experience inclusive of the following minimum specific experience:5 years of experience with various cloud automation technologies, including cloud infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration technologies. 2 years of experience managing Nutanix HCI environments, to include configuration of a cluster and the components needed to create and manage VMs (networks and images) 2 years of experience managing Citrix VDI services Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification within 6 months of hire (previously Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification). VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP). Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook. Experience developing IT checklists, SOPs, guides, etc. Ability to travel up to 10%. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT related field. Citrix Certified Administrator (or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire) Certified Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Administration (ECA) Demonstrated experience in analysis simulation environment, configuring and troubleshooting software/hardware enhancements, application deployments, and infrastructure upgrades in a dynamic information systems-hosting environment.
