Role reports to: External Reporting, Director
Location: Skillman, NJ Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.
Travel %: 10%
Pay: $85-115K
What you will do
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual consolidated external financial statements (10K, 10Q, etc.) in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Support the quarterly review and annual audit processes
- Maintain familiarity of accounting pronouncements and disclosure requirements to assist stakeholders with questions
- Prepare quarterly disclosure checklist in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
- Adhere to various control procedures and edit checks to ensure the integrity of reported financial results
- Identify issues for follow-up and resolution with respective stakeholders
- Work on accounting research and assist in the interpretation and implementation of complex reporting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting
- 2-3 years experience in accounting/finance
- Exposure to financial statements and/or external (SEC) reporting
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and business partnering skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Good technical research skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent inter-personal skills and a proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels
- Self-directed and motivated to continuously improve processes
- CPA, CMA, Chartered Accountant, CGMA or other professional accounting qualification
- Experience in public accounting and/or a public company environment
