CUSTOMER SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are seeking a Customer Sales Representative for a temporary position with one of our clients. The representative is responsible for operating a point-of-sale (POS) cash register and participating in the daily operations of the shop including customer service, sales, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will maintain positive employee, staff, and guest relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensures shop shelves are stocked with merchandise.
  • Informs the Shop Manager when items are nearing depletion.
  • Keeps stock room and storeroom areas in order.
  • Assists in designing attractive displays to entice customers most effectively.
  • Completes daily housekeeping duties, such as dusting, straightening displays, and keeping the sales floor and cash register area free of boxes.
  • Receives and checks in merchandise.
  • Accounts for all items received by the Shop.
  • Prices/Displays merchandise within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing position.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Can-do mentality.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $19.00 Per Hour
