We are looking for a passionate Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams and collaborating with the care team to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of patient care. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility and be part of a team that is dedicated to providing the highest level of cardiovascular care.
Responsibilities:- Performing upper/lower extremity Venous and Arterial Duplex exams
- Operating complex measurement and Doppler programs
- Ensuring optimal diagnostic quality of scans for patients of all ages
- Assisting physicians during invasive exams and procedures
- Completing necessary documentation and adhering to patient care and safety policies
- Participating in on-call rotation
- Certificate of successful completion from an accredited school of vascular ultrasound
- Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with ARDMS or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) with CCI
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
