We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at N2S Healthcare Staffing Solutions, LLC. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients, under the general supervision of a Radiologist.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures, according to exam protocol, in a timely manner.
- Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.
- Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
- Report issues to management or appropriate departments, and assist in maintaining supplies inventory.
- Ensure patient safety by screening individuals according to approved policies and procedures.
- Obtain, verify, and maintain relevant documentation, including patient history, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions taken.
- Maintain medical imaging records in accordance with department policies and standards.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT-BS Breast Sonography (ARRT-BS), ARRT-S Sonography (ARRT-S), Musculoskeletal Sonography (MSK), Reg Diag Med Sono-Abdomen (AB) (RDMS-AB), Reg Diag Med Sono-Breast (BR) (RDMS-BR), Reg Diag Med Sono-OB/GYN (OB) (RDMS-OB), Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS), Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) certification.
