Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and accurate patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all assigned diagnostic ultrasound exams in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of patient care.
  • Assume responsibility for patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance.
  • Consistently produce scans of optimal diagnostic quality on patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric.
  • Complete required documentation on forms, logs, and in computer systems.
  • Follow Patient Care and Safety Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Certificate of successful completion from an accredited school of vascular ultrasound.
  • Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
