Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN Vascular Technologist to join a leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound exams and collaborating with the care team to ensure safe and accurate patient care. Additional responsibilities include specimen testing, quality control, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various vascular ultrasound exams according to physician's orders
  • Identify upper/lower extremity venous anatomy and collateral venous pathways
  • Operate Doppler programs and produce high-quality scans
  • Assist physicians and perform procedures in the OR
  • Adhere to Patient Care and Safety Policies and Procedures

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound or certificate from an accredited school of vascular ultrasound
  • Registered as a Vascular Technologist with ARDMS or RVS with CCI
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Previous experience in vascular ultrasound preferred
