Position Summary:
We seek a visionary and experienced Director of Marketing who will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand presence across various platforms. This key team member will oversee our media strategies, influencer & brand collaborations and social media channels to drive ROI, build brand awareness, earn market share, develop key relationships and engage with our diverse customer base.
An exceptional communicator, the Director of Marketing effectively leads cross-functional teams supporting new projects and product launches for maximum contribution and impact. The ideal candidate is passionate about brand building, content creation, possesses excellent negotiation and communication skills, and is well-versed in contract agreements, pricing, profitability and sales contribution. S/he must work collaboratively with Creative, Product Marketing, and eCommerce, as well as develop cross-functional partnerships across Sales, Operations, and Finance, and have a propensity for proactively figuring out what's next, what's possible, and what delivers a return on investment.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement innovative social media strategies to increase followers, engagement and brand awareness, as well drive traffic ans sales.
- Will oversee the management of all social media accounts, working with our Brand Ambassador and Social Media assistant manager, contractors, and contributors to ensure content is fresh, relevant, aligned with our brand voice, and driving support for our product and sales priorities.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors who resonate with our brand values and promote our brand goals.
- Negotiate contracts and manage influencer relationships, ensuring content aligns with marketing goals.
- Develop and oversee media strategies, including digital, print, and broadcast channels.
- Manage the creation and distribution of press releases and maintain relationships with media contacts.
- Support company events, promotions and trade show both onsite and off. Capture event highlights for media, website, blog and/or social media.
- Oversight and management of external media agencies.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals within the Marketing & D2C team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Set clear team goals and KPIs, and conduct performance reviews.
- Contribute to the overall brand strategy of StoreBound's portfolio of brands, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
- Monitor market trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance and ROI.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on marketing activities and results.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in marketing leadership, specifically in social media, influencer marketing, and media planning.
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or the consumer goods industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and comfortable working with numbers and metrics.
