We're hiring a part-time Crisis Support Specialist - PRN to join our Mobile Crisis Response Team on an as-needed basis and provide critical support to clients dealing with crises.

QUALIFICATIONS

Our ideal candidate has mobile crisis response experience, but it's not required. Here are the minimum qualifications:

  • 21+ years old
  • Recovery Support Specialist certification or ability to obtain one within one year of hire
  • Valid driver's license with a reliable, insured vehicle
  • Residence in St. Clair County, IL
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with professionals from other organizations and disciplines to deliver comprehensive, respectful services
  • Organizational skills, time management skills, and communication skills

WHAT TO EXPECT AS OUR CRISIS SUPPORT SPECIALIST - PRN

You have a flexible part-time schedule, working only when needed for a crisis response. Our services are available on evenings, weekends, and holidays, and you need to be able to respond to emergencies within 60 minutes.

When clients go through a behavioral health crisis, you spring into action and race to their side to offer mental, physical, emotional, and social support. You're there during some of our clients' lowest moments, and you approach every interaction from a place of respect and care. Working closely with your mobile response team, you build a rapport with clients, provide compassionate support, and suggest resources to support their individual needs. You closely document your interactions and maintain compliance with regulatory agency requirements. Your ability to form relationships and guide people through tough times makes you an incredible asset to our team
