ABOUT THIS CRISIS RECOVERY SPECIALIST JOB

This behavioral health role can expect to work full-time.

As a Crisis Recovery Specialist with our human services nonprofit, you wake up ready to make a positive impact each day. You use your lived experience to assist clients in crisis, provide support to families, and respond immediately to behavioral health crises. You also communicate effectively within your team, provide brief therapeutic interventions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You work to assist individuals in their recovery process, participate in suicide prevention practices and crisis collaboration, and conduct outreach and community engagement in St. Clair County.

  • 21+ years old
  • High School Diploma, GED, or higher education
  • Personal experience
  • St. Clair County, IL residency
  • Certified Recovery Support Specialist status within one year of hire
  • Ability and willingness to actively participate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment
  • Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
  • Experience with mobile crisis response (preferred)
