Responsibilities

  • Field incoming service scheduling calls
  • Schedule service appointments and recalls via phone and internet
  • Accurately quote services and explain the basics of what the service entails
  • Actively listen and problem solve guest concerns
  • Respond to online service requests and questions, promptly and accurately
  • Make outgoing guest calls for appointments and other reminders
  • Fill in duties as required, such as assisting in the service drive
  • Will be required to learn about manufacturer products, automobiles, and specific computer applications
  • Follow all safety and security procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • One year of experience in an automotive service department is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience dealing with complex issues and guest concerns
  • Integrity and honesty are absolute requirements
  • Highly professional appearance and demeanor
  • High levels of guest service and organizational skills are top priorities
  • Ability to type and utilize all functions of a computer and various operating programs
  • Efficiency using Microsoft Suite Programs such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
