Description

We are seeking a Senior Network Architect specializing in Cisco switching and routing to support a large network services opportunity. The role involves architecting, designing, and deploying new solutions to provide secure, highly available network services in accordance with customer service level agreements. Responsibilities include designing virtual local area networks (VLANs), wide area networks (WANs), datacenter networks, wireless networks, and industrial control communications systems, as well as providing Cisco switching and routing expertise, shaping network traffic, and evaluating potential impacts of new network solutions. The role also involves network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and health assessment, as well as providing strategic and tactical direction for network services enhancements and projects. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline, active Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification, and experience configuring Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related discipline
  • Active Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification or ten years of experience in architecting, designing, and operating large-scale enterprise networks
  • Experience configuring Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points

Desired Skills

  • CCIE Certification strongly preferred
  • CompTIA Security+ or CISSP security certification
  • Network project management experience
