Maximus is looking to hire a Cybersecurity Operations Center Lead to our team

Job Duties:

- Work with cybersecurity and government stakeholders to plan, schedule, monitor, and report on our work.

- Manage a small cybersecurity program in a fast-paced and dynamic client site environment and take charge of cyber tasks in government facilities, including full life cycle Risk Management Framework (RMF), vulnerability management, inspections, governance, and training for a DoD client.

- Apply program management techniques to ensure the on-time, high-quality delivery of cyber products and ensure their compliance with all contract requirements.

- Work with the client to shape activities under contract in concert with the statement of work, organizational strategic plans, and its associated goals and objectives.

- Coach, mentor, and lead staff with diverse skillsets and backgrounds, and grow future leaders.

- Work closely with the client to ensure projects meet delivery, quality, and schedule goals supporting organization-wide technical programs and strategic initiatives.

- Your team will look to you for day-to-day leadership as they navigate requirements, time constraints, and staffing challenges. Senior leaders will rely on you for the pulse of the project through regular status briefs, and you will brief leaders in both the Firm and DoD.

Required Skills:

- Due to contract requirements candidates must be US citizens, have a valid TS and be eligible for SCI clearance

- 8+ years of experience with DoD project/program management for cyber programs across the acquisition life cycle, schedule, and performance in the DoD or Intelligence Community

- DoD IAM Level III Certification

- 5+ years experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF), System Architecture, DevSecOps, and Agile Cybersecurity

- 5+ years experience managing multiple projects, including adjusting to shifting priorities and solving problems quickly

- 5+ years experience managing project teams, including direct responsibility for people development

- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

- BA or BS degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field

- Demonstrated ability to build trusted-advisor relationships with clients

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or another Project Management Certification

- CISSP Certification

- ITIL Foundations Certification

- Experience working with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)

- Experience with Microsoft Project and Atlassian tools

- Experience with leading transformation initiatives in large organizations

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
