Job Overview

cFocus Software Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Team Lead to join our program supporting the US Department of Homeland Security (USDHS) in Arlington, Virginia. This position offers remote capabilities and requires an active Secret clearance, meeting 8570 requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure and maintain the security compliance for TSA information systems in accordance with NIST, Federal security policies, DHS directives, mandates, and laws.
  • Perform work using the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and methodology.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a computer, engineering, or science field.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • DHS Experience and Suitability.
  • 8570 Compliant (Security+ CE)
  • A minimum of 10 years of IT cybersecurity experience, including direct support for the US Government, and 7 years acting as an ISSO, assessor, or compliance analyst for enterprise IT systems.
  • At least TWO of the following security certifications: CAP, CISSO, CISM, or CISSP.
  • Knowledge of NIST Guidelines and FISMA Cybersecurity compliance requirements.
  • Technical knowledge of complex enterprise IT systems.
  • Knowledge of and experience using relevant cybersecurity and analysis tools, such as Archer, Nessus Security Center, Splunk, etc.
  • Experience communicating effectively, both oral and written, with technical, non-technical, and executive-level customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant Master's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Additional years of experience in IT cybersecurity.
