Responds to payer inquiries regarding insurance authorizations timely and accurately. Processes insurance verification and authorizations requests until final resolution has been reached. Obtains timely authorizations for future care/visits and assists with or provides necessary documentation as required by payer source. Maintains organized, effective, and efficient systems and communication to ensure correct insurance authorizations and verifications are accurate. Employs accuracy of data to ensure correct billing occurs Acts as liaison between company and insurance agencies. What is Required? High School Diploma/GED 2+ years of insurance verification, authorization and/or billing experience Excellent skills in MS Word and Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Associates Degree in Administration is preferred Home Health or Hospice experience is preferred You will report to the Insurance Department Team leader.
