TheNational Sales Director of SCHUNK Electronic Solutionsis responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for depaneling products and services across the entire country. This role involves managing a team of independent representatives, developing, and implementing sales plans, and achieving revenue targets.

The National Sales Directorwill work closely with other departments, both in the US and in Germany, to ensure the successful promotion and delivery of products and services fromSCHUNK Electronic Solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for depaneling products and services on a national level

Set clear sales targets and objectives, and regularly monitor progress toward achieving them

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to identify growth opportunities

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team

Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members

Foster a collaborative and motivated sales environment

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners

Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns

Sales Operations:

Develop and manage the sales budget, including forecasting and reporting

Implement efficient sales processes and tools to streamline operations

Monitor and optimize sales performance metrics

Product Knowledge:

Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in automation technology.

Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's automation products and services

Market Expansion:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets to expand the company's reach

Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective sales campaigns and promotions

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

Prepare and present regular sales reports and updates to senior management

Bachelor's degree in technical or business field and/or extensive related experience

Proven track record of successful sales leadership, preferably in the SMT industry

Strong knowledge of sales structures and sales controlling

Excellent leadership and team-building skills

Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities

Analytical and strategic thinking skills

Proficiency in sales management software and tools

Willingness to travel as needed

TheNational Sales Director of Electronic Solutionsplays a crucial role in driving the company's growth and market presence in the automation sector. They must possess a deep understanding of automation technology, effective sales strategies, and strong leadership skills to excel in this position

Education and/or Experience:

Four-year college or University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with Automation and or Clamping technology highly desired

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to write routine reports, correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

Reasoning Ability

Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Computer Skills:

Requires expertise with personal computers, CAD applications and related applications. Ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, and the ability to use or learn to use integrated order and sales system or application, email and internet/intranet applications

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Valid Driver’s License
