Role Summary
As a Hyperscale Solutions Sales Engineer, you will engage with high-profile hyperscale datacenter clients, leveraging your technical acumen to drive the adoption of our cutting-edge products and services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in datacenter infrastructure and a proven track record in technology sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Lenovo Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives to manage technical opportunities and engage with customer engineering teams.
- Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements within the hyperscale datacenter sector.
- Conduct training sessions for clients, enhancing their understanding of our product offerings.
- Establish and nurture deep technical relationships with clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Work in tandem with engineering teams to create and deliver tailored solutions for customers.
- Assist the sales team in formulating strategies to secure new business accounts.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability by engaging key customers effectively.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of successful experience in technology sales.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of x86 computing technology trends.
- Comprehensive understanding of datacenter infrastructure, including networking, storage, and computing.
- Proven ability to devise strategies for penetrating and selling to large enterprises.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as necessary.
- Demonstrated success in achieving significant sales targets.
