Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. But some managers also lead Departments.
The Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities include making sure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are done well, that all service staff are trained in service procedures, and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service.

Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor and provide adequate training to all employees
Provides an exceptional experience for all guests
Ensure crew enjoys working at McDonalds

Makes sure the crew represents the brand proudly & consistently
Position crew members to deliver the best customer service
Ensure good communication between managers and crew

Qualifications
Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We’re looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who like to have fun, with the passion to work the famously fast paced McDonald’s environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our restaurants.
Ability to Read and Write at a 9th Grade Level
Possess Basic Computer Knowledge
Ability to count money and accurately give change
Have a positive attitude
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Work as a member of a team
Manage Time effectively
Hospitality knowledge and training L
Leadership Skills
6 months McDonald’s experience plus 6 months in food service Management

Physical Requirements
This position can be physically demanding. The employee may be required to stand for extended periods of time, lift objects up to 20 lbs on a regular basis and do repetitive tasks with few breaks.
