Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Train, manage, direct, coach, lead, and assign drive-in employees during shift to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Lead and manage drive-in operations during shift to provide an exceptional guest experience, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Staffing and Scheduling: Manage staffing levels during shift to meet operational demands, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing labor costs.
- Opening and Closing Duties: Perform opening and/or closing duties, including preparing the drive-in for operation, conducting inventory, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Guest and Employee Issues: Handle and properly escalate guest issues/concerns during shift, as well as employee issues and concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Inventory and Cost Control: Monitor and manage the drive-in's food, labor, paper, and inventory during shift to maximize cost-control, operational efficiency, quality standards, and customer service.
- Record Keeping: Assist with preparation and maintenance of drive-in records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Station Duties: Perform all station duties, including fountain & frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru (if applicable), to meet operational standards.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease, pursuant to operational standards.
- Attendance and Punctuality: Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Physical Demands: Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Adaptability: Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
Work Environment: This role requires continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting in a restaurant environment, with frequent exposure to heat and hot liquid shortening while cooking, and occasional exposure to extreme temperatures based on variable weather conditions.
