THE JOB:
As a Starbucks Barista at New York-New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, you'll be at the forefront of creating exceptional guest experiences. Your warm smile and outstanding service will set the stage for every visitor. By crafting delicious beverages and serving pastries with care, you'll connect with each guest, understanding their unique needs and preferences. Through your dedication, you'll help create WOW moments that guests will remember long after their stay with us.

Mon - Thu: 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Fri - Sun: 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Casino Location
Mon, Thu - Sun: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Order Accuracy: Efficiently take, place, and serve orders, ensuring food and beverages are prepared and garnished accurately according to guest specifications.
- Cash Handling: Expertise in processing cash transactions, adhering to all proper cash handling and complimentary procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Committed to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment in both front and back of house, including clearing tables, sweeping dining areas, and ensuring a welcoming guest atmosphere.
- Order Completion: Skillful in packing and completing guest orders based on their preferences, including providing necessary condiments.
- Product Safety: Proficient in labeling and dating products properly, following safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain food safety.
- Shift Flexibility: Ability to perform opening and closing duties as assigned based on shift schedules, ensuring all areas are prepared for efficient operation.
- Inventory Management: Experience in unloading and stocking warehouse deliveries, organizing storage areas, and replenishing stock at workstations, counters, and tables.
- Guest Relations: Skilled in addressing and resolving guest complaints within the scope of authority or escalating issues to management, and reporting any unusual events, missing items, or incidents to a supervisor or Security.
- Additional Duties: Flexibility to undertake other job-related tasks as required, contributing to the team's overall success, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Work Schedule: Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
- Barista Experience: Proven experience in a barista role, with a strong ability to prepare and serve a variety of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup.
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere and building positive relationships with guests.
- Cash Handling Expertise: Solid experience in cash handling and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to cash handling procedures.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards and accurately fulfilling guest orders.
