Cenovus is looking for students seeking an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the refining industry. We are looking for individuals who can bring fresh ideas to the table, and who are willing to learn from some of the industry's most innovative and talented people.

What you'll do
  • Assist with the administration of the campus recruitment needs by
    • Schedule interviews for hiring leaders with students.
    • Update recruiting tracker on complete pre-employment checks
    • Assist with recruitment tools such as Vidcruiter, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, indeed, etc.
    • Assist with the student evergreen requisitions.
    • Support the campus recruiting process by prepping offers and moving through the ATS.
  • Create and foster a high caliber, best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Support Talent acquisition events
  • Support system enhancements and data integrity
  • Assist with sourcing and attraction execution.
  • Maintain TA documentation and candidate communication.
Who you are.
  • Available to begin work on January 6, 2025
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided.
  • As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Driver's License is required.
  • Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in General, Business, Psychology, etc.
  • Currently attending an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of the intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
  • Candidates currently enrolled in either a master's or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semester.
  • New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
Working Conditions
  • May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.
Safety Sensitive
  • This is a safety-sensitive role and as such you will also be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during required work hours. Furthermore, you will also be required to pass the Cenovus pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment requirements.
  • Safety-sensitive positions require the operation of a motor vehicle. A valid US Driver's License with no restrictions is a requirement for this role.
Relocation
  • Students moving for their work term may be eligible to receive a lump sum payment to assist with relocation expenses.
