The Role:

  • Analyze field data from existing sensors, identify sensor optimizations, and develop algorithms for improved error detection as well as improved understanding of suit utilization to improve hardware and operator performance.
  • Design algorithms for identifying hardware issues and calibration of components during manufacturing, field deployment and system usage.
  • Develop improved motor control algorithms and support validation as needed.
  • Partner with Firmware, Software, and SQA to drive development of improved testing suite to improve software/firmware validation process
  • Identify and champion opportunities to make lifting safer for every user
  • Collaborate with the broader engineering team and lead external contractors to develop product improvements.
  • Drive projects to completion, ensuring systems are easily configurable, deployable, and maintainable.
About You:
  • BS in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
  • Experience with sensor/actuator selection and interfaces
  • At least 4 years industry experience in robotics
  • Experience programming with C, Python, and ideally Golang
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
