This position provides research assistance to and involves working closely with Attorneys, Analysts and staff to support their research needs. Selected person needs to work Onsite in our Kansas City, MO office 2-3 days/ week and as needed to perform the functions of this Hybrid position.
Provides research assistance by consulting print and electronic resources in the areas of medicine, business, general news, science and technology.
Offers research assistance in locating and obtaining medical literature through interlibrary loan and document delivery services.
Conducts reference interviews with users to determine the scope of research requests, billing information, project time frame, and any financial constraints.
Complies information on library materials in order to catalog them.
Requirements
Master's degree in library science(M.L.S.) or its equivalent;
or four to ten years related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work with software currently used in medical research and library science.
