Job Description
  • Responsible for assisting in the design, documentation, payment processing and communication of Sonesta's incentive compensation programs (including, but are not limited to; Sales, Hotel, Franchise and Corporate incentive, commission, and bonus plans).
  • In collaboration with internal partners, builds and maintains incentive compensation plan documents for distribution. Manage the distribution and status tracking of incentive compensation plan documents.
  • Partner closely with colleagues in finance, business units, and HR to design, implement and maintain the systems, and processes in support of Sonesta's incentive compensation programs.
  • Partner with finance, business units, HR/HR Operations, and payroll on planning for incentive payments. Ensure payments meet required deadlines and on an accurate basis.
  • Plans for and ensure payments receive required review and approvals.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
  • Function as a subject matter expert on all incentive compensation plans.
  • Assists with the development and distribution of training, presentation, and other materials for compensation program rollouts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in compensation program design, support, or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills (advance level)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to partner, collaborate and influence across functional areas
  • Experience implementing process and systems
  • Ability to operate in and be successful in a changing environment
  • Have good judgment and can balance business strategy, organizational context and data in driving toward solutions
  • Confident in communicating with all levels of the organization
  • Attention to detail, accurate work product
Additional Job Information/Anticipated

Pay Range

$90,000 to $120,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills, and job specific/overall experience.
