San Francisco, United States Cut+Dry Full time

Who We Are

Cut+Dry is a fast-growing FoodTech startup searching for flexible go-getters who welcome the challenge of meeting the needs of a rapidly expanding business. Our company is revolutionizing the $300B US food supply industry by directly connecting the people who produce and distribute food with those who purchase and prepare it in a commercial setting. Our platform provides wholesale suppliers, manufacturers, and their customers (restaurants, caterers, hotels, lodging, etc.) with an all-in-one order management, shopping, payment, and tracking solution that saves valuable time, allowing users to do more with their existing staff, and ultimately, build a more profitable business.

The Cut+Dry founders and executive team have a background uniquely suited to attack this complicated problem. Consisting of lifelong Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, the leaders have built and exited multiple startups and possess deep domain expertise in the restaurant and food supply chain business, having sold previous startups to one of the world’s largest food distributors.

Who We’re Looking For

As an Growth Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of foodservice distributors to drive revenue growth. This role will require you to build relationships with distributor teams (including leadership, managers, sales representatives, accounts receivable staff, transportation, and administration). This role is the first point of human contact within the company, so you must be enthusiastic, friendly, and a true consultative Cut+Dry product expert.

At a tactical level, you'll be responsible for getting the distributor and their customers to full usage of the Cut+Dry platform. Currently, there are two primary paths to full usage: (1)

People

- helping distributor staff and, through them, their customers, understand the benefits of using Cut+Dry, and (2)

Features

- ensuring each party understands the different features within Cut+Dry and promoting them to full usage. Success will be measured by the depth of engagement of each distributor, and your ability to upsell features, maintain little to no churn, and increase adoption.

Our ideal candidate is a fast-mover with a hunger not only to meet but exceed our growth targets. As an early-stage startup, you must be able to thrive in a fast-moving, rapidly-evolving work setting. This is not purely a sales job, but typical sales skills are helpful.

Job Responsibilities:

Own and nurture relationships with distributor customers, driving training, adoption, retention, and satisfaction Promote full usage of the Cut+Dry platform, upselling features and ensuring distributor engagement Meet and surpass revenue targets by understanding distributor and restaurant operators' unique challenges and needs Educate distributor teams on product features and benefits, fostering understanding and usage Identify and address bottlenecks, providing effective solutions for distributor partners Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, maximizing retention and growth opportunities Showcase return on investment to management and stakeholders, assisting in new product launches Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to drive new product adoption and validate roadmap features Act as the in-house expert, evangelizing Cut+Dry solutions internally and externally Lead end-user adoption initiatives, generating high-quality inbound referrals and conducting virtual education sessions on the full suite of Cut+Dry products Conduct regular 1-1 calls with multiple levels of leadership for account management and channel development Manage communication between stakeholders, customers, and product support teams, ensuring satisfaction and providing regular updates Document and manage the entire lifecycle of customer inquiries and concerns, communicating solutions and findings to leadership Ensure consistency and timely deliverables, providing feedback, and guiding team members Adhere to company standards, policies, procedures, and maintain KPIs within the CRM while maintaining data accuracy

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred Certification in Project Planning is a plus 3+ years of experience in Foodservice, Hospitality, or Account Management Comfortable with long-term relationship management and driving incremental revenue through increased platform usage Previous experience in an outcomes-driven organization, owning metrics related to work Obsessive attention to detail and exceptional time-management skills Passion for problem-solving and ability to empathize with stakeholder concerns Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation platforms, and business intelligence tools Proven experience in growth operations or sales operations, achieving growth targets Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

Why Work at Cut+Dry?

Results-driven company culture that encourages a balanced lifestyle Base salary + stock options package Paid Medical, Dental, and Vision 401k Plan Unlimited PTO Flexible remote environment - West Coast Workspace equipment provided (computer, external monitor, and VoIP headset)
