- Have strong technical knowledge of materials, means and methods.
- Enforce design intent when reviewing RFIs and submittals and be sensitive to how these decisions impact on design concepts.
- Oversee projects in construction and manage site visits, etc.
- Use Revit and Bluebeam to keep construction documents updated.
- Participate in OAC meetings.
- Represent and support the owner and design team during construction phases.
- Support and mentor project team members as necessary.
- Weekly travel to regional project sites
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture, or related field recommended.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in construction and/or architecture. With at least 3 years' experience focused on construction phases for large healthcare projects.
- Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam and Newforma.
- Experience on all phases of design is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to support a collaborative teamwork environment.
