Role Summary: As a Registered Architect, you will serve as the Technical Lead for various projects, taking ownership of the technical execution as a vital member of the project leadership team. This role requires advanced expertise in the Project Architect category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the technical execution of small to medium-sized projects with limited complexity.
  • Collaborate regularly with design and management leaders to ensure effective project execution, resource coordination, and integration of inputs from inception to completion.
  • Actively participate in all project scope aspects, including workplan development, design support, compliance with jurisdictional requirements, documentation phases, construction administration, and coordination with external consultants.
  • Oversee specific technical design elements of assigned projects, conducting investigations, evaluations, and recommendations for design solutions.
  • Ensure that construction documents align with the design intent.
  • Conduct code analyses and serve as a liaison with relevant jurisdictions.
  • Review submittals during construction and maintain logs for RFIs and submittals.
  • Assist in managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication among project teams, subcontractors, and other disciplines.
  • Conduct on-site observations and prepare field reports.
  • Manage document coordination and design detailing.
  • Coordinate project teams and assignments to successfully complete architectural and interior design projects.
  • Utilize advanced techniques and adapt standard practices as necessary.
  • Exercise judgment in evaluating, selecting, and modifying techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in commercial architecture, with optional experience in interior design.

  • Demonstrated advanced competency in fulfilling the responsibilities of the Project Architect role.
  • Specialized expertise in technical execution and a comprehensive understanding of the design process.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or focus on a single client across various project types.
  • Effective communication skills for addressing technical and integration issues swiftly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and staff at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Experience across all phases of architecture, interior design, and engineering, including project planning.
  • Familiarity with construction document preparation and field operations.
  • Knowledge of building materials, codes, specifications, and construction techniques.
  • Proficient in REVIT, Bluebeam, Newforma, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
  • Possess BIM modeling skills.
