Job Summary
Alys Beach is seeking a Guest Services Specialist who will be responsible for guest and homeowner services which includes Concierge, Front Office, and Reservations. They will direct, implement, and maintain a service philosophy that adheres to the Alys Beach brand.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome owners and guests in accordance with the Alys Beach service standards
- Maintain proper operation of telephone and adhere to the Alys Beach service standards
- Answer owner and guest inquiries about services, facilities, restaurants, transportation, entertainment, hours of operation, etc.
- Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow employees and other departments within Alys Beach
- Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner
- Develop relationships with owners and guests to provide personalized service
- Attend to guest comments verbally and written to ensure proper attention to follow-up
- Adhere to all service standards for Guest Services
- Participate in and support Resort and company efforts toward sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the company program
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in a customer service role
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Greet and welcome owners and guests in accordance with the Alys Beach service standards
- Maintain proper operation of telephone and adhere to the Alys Beach service standards
- Answer owner and guest inquiries about services, facilities, restaurants, transportation, entertainment, hours of operation, etc.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner
- Develop relationships with owners and guests to provide personalized service
- May require sitting for long periods of time in an office environment
- May require lifting of up to 30 pounds
- Experience in a luxury resort environment
- Experience in key rooms division capacities
- Knowledge of Alys Beach and local competitive markets
- Knowledge of TRACK property management system
