The Role
As the Principal Product Manager for Payments & Embedded Fintech, you will play a critical role in defining and executing RentSpree's strategy in the rapidly growing financial technology sector. This is a highly strategic and impactful role where you will lead the development of innovative rent payment solutions and drive the embedded fintech strategy for mom-and-pop landlords.
Key Responsibilities
Define the product vision, strategy, and execution for RentSpree's payments and embedded fintech solutions
Rent Payments:
Scale the existing payment platform to meet the increasing demand and growth of the business
Focus on enhancing user experience, ensuring seamless transactions, and integrating with other RentSpree products
Embedded Fintech:
Identify and prioritize opportunities for financial products such as lending, insurance, and other services
Develop and launch new fintech products that provide value to landlords and enhance their financial well-being
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond
Lead cross-functional product teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to deliver high-quality products
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new opportunities
Utilize data-driven insights to inform product decisions and measure success
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
8+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of success in payments or fintech
Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, including taking products from 0 to 1 for consumers
Deep understanding of the payments and fintech landscape, including regulatory requirements and industry trends
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Experience leading and mentoring product teams
Ability to coordinate effectively with thought leaders in Thailand (~5-7pm PT)
Salary range:
$235k - $255k base + equity options
90% paid Dental and Vision option
100% paid 1X base salary for Life & AD&D
PTO: unlimited
