Senior Manager of Product - Billing and Payments

The Role

Invoicing is a table-stakes feature for Amazon Business, and increasingly, any enterprise-servicing organization within Amazon. B2B Payments is looking for a visionary Product leader to serve as a senior member of our product organization, owning the 3 year product vision, roadmap delivery, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for Pay by Invoice globally. You will manage a team of product managers to deliver new invoicing features that unblock enterprises from spending on Amazon Business. You will partner closely with leaders of Amazon Business, Global Tax, and Payments services to influence the next generation of invoicing and payments for business customers on Amazon. You will also oversee the expansion of the B2B invoicing product to new enterprise serving clients across Amazon also looking to access the growing B2B e-commerce opportunity. Ideally this person will have experience working with diverse and international B2B customer segments, as well as understanding of the B2B procure to pay cycle. This role requires a high level of judgment and influence, working cross functionally with technical, financial, and customer facing leaders (including Accounts Receivable, User Experience Design, software engineering, finance, marketing, risk and data science).

Key job responsibilities
  1. Develop product and solution requirements, working backwards from the customer with an understanding of the end-to-end customer experience including customer segmentation.
  2. Oversee delivery of the Pay by Invoice roadmap through annual goals, and identify opportunities for acceleration of the roadmap.
  3. Partner closely with the engineering organization on developing and scaling the architecture to support business goals.
  4. Drive cross-functional alignment with senior leaders across Payments, Amazon Business, Tax, Accounting and Sales.
  5. Integrate invoicing features and roadmap to overall Enterprise customer value proposition.
  6. Leverage existing customer and sales feedback loops to synthesize feedback and consolidate feature requests, providing specific requirements to engineering and driving follow-up actions and communications.
  7. Evangelize the B2B invoicing solution to other enterprise serving organizations within Amazon as a best-in-class global solution.
  8. Manage an awesome team of product managers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 8+ years of team management experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree.
  3. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  4. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  5. Experience leading cross-functional software development teams, operations, UX Designer and other Product Managers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
