POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior HRBP is responsible for focusing and collaborating with the Barton Malow Holdings leaders, primarily supporting the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to drive strategic HR initiatives that support business objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and enhance organizational effectiveness. The Sr. HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to senior leaders, ensuring alignment between HR strategies and business goals.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Holdings leaders, providing insights and recommendations on HR-related matters.
  • Support talent management initiatives, including succession planning and development, talent reviews, and development.
  • Identify and address talent gaps, ensuring the organization has the right skills and capabilities to achieve its objectives.
  • Oversee performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive organizational development efforts, including change management, organizational design, and workforce planning.
  • Support the annual and mid-year compensation processes
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, addressing employee concerns and promoting open communication.
  • Utilize HR analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HRBP role.
  • Experience working in construction or a related industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with senior level executives
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent management, organizational development, and change management.
  • HR Certification (e.g. SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
