Position Summary / Career Interest:
This position reports to the Manager of Operations of Human Resources for a specific business unit. Position includes daily oversight and/or administration of general HR activities and projects in support of the Human Resources Department. The HR Coordinator assists the Director, Business Partner and other team members with projects and reporting. This position ensures that HR records are accurately and efficiently maintained. They will assist with on-boarding new physicians, dealing with benefit questions, tracking compliance and responding to outside agencies and requests. They serve as main point of contact for HRIS systems including reporting, system updates and data entry.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
  • Maintains high level of confidentiality, using discretion and good judgement in all transactions.
  • Effectively complete high-level HR administrative work and projects in a timely manner; work may include conducting research, collecting/preparing data, tracking, notifications, and preparing correspondence.
  • Properly and correctly inputs employee information into the HRIS system.
  • Maintains HRIS employee website with current information and develops deep understanding of HRIS capability.
  • Assist HR professional staff by producing employee data and reports, including but not limited to preparation of AAP data, census documents for benefit purposes, report requests from other departments, as well as lists and reports for system Human Resources departments, system physician recruitment, legal, marketing and leadership.
  • Assists with benefit enrollment.
  • Ensures compliance and regulatory reports are maintained and communicated appropriately, and tracking and auditing is done in a timely fashion.
  • Assists in meeting preparation including Board Committee meetings, benefit planning meetings, and training sessions.
  • May assist in training other HR personnel in processes, programs and procedures.
  • Maintain positive relationships with other work groups in the organization and vendors.
  • Respond to outside requests for information including but not limited to employment verifications
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • 2 or more years of experience in human resources.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a customer facing role.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
  • 3 or more years of Human Resources experience in a healthcare environment.
Preferred Licensure and Certification
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) - Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI)
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) - Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
