Positions Summary The Gas Marketing Analyst will support Chord's Marketing entity in a variety of areas, with an emphasis on data management, analytics, accounting, and compliance related functions. Internal communication is required with various departments including Legal, Treasury, IT, Financial Reporting, and Accounting along with external communication with companies with whom Marketing transacts its business. This position is based in Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with background and experience.Essential Job FunctionsProvide accurate and actionable insights which support marketing and trading decisionsHelp shape strategic view on regional crude and gas markets Collaborate on monthly price forecasting Run predictive analysis to identify arbitrage opportunitiesTrack industry developments including regulations, infrastructure projects, capital plans, etcLiaison between commercial groups, Development and AccountingMonitor new well activity and development plans in coordination with the Asset Team as well as external counterpartiesMonitor third party infrastructure and capacity constraints to ensure flow assuranceProvide guidance to other marketing functions, accounting, reservoir, planning and other groups.Work cross-functionally to move necessary department projects forwardHandle other duties and projects as neededThis job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position.
