Location Description:

Originally opened in 1949, the Beachcomber's name captures the essence of the property. It's all about the beach. Put your toes in the sand and soak in the sun on 200 feet of private beachfront. As was the norm in the early iterations of Florida hotels, Beachcomber's rooms all open up to a lush courtyard featuring tropical gardens, pools and endless spots to relax in the shade. Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Manager to join our dynamic team and help us continue to exceed guest expectations.

The Front Desk Manager will oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring that all guests receive the highest level of service. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage front desk staff, including hiring, training, coaching and counseling, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the front desk provides a professional and friendly service for guests.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient front desk area.
  • Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage room inventory and availability.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare and manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Uphold the hotel's policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and hotel management software (e.g., MAESTRO).
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Customer service-oriented with a passion for creating a positive guest experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
