We are hiring an Event Specialist to our growing team The Event Specialist is a vital piece of the 3 Sisters Team. This position will be responsible for organizing and executing all elements relating to events for which 3 Sisters is a vendor. The 3 Sisters Event Specialist roles purpose is to support the 3 Sisters Event Coordinator. The 3 Sisters Event Specialist is a person who is action-based, detail-oriented, anticipates needs before they arise, and is willing to serve.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist 3 Sisters Event Coordinator in all day-to-day operations of 3 Sisters event business including external events, ARC events, Mountain Movers Theatre Company events, and other Downtown Louisa events.

+ Ensure inventory, delivery, and setup occur for all events as scheduled.

+ Represent 3 Sisters in a professional manner with superior customer service.

+ Organize and maintain 3 Sisters inventory.

+ Measure the success of events and plan for improvements in processes.

+ Answer sales inquiries.

+ Attend various trade shows and assigned sales trips with accurate follow-up reports.

+ Communicate client requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required, ensuring delivery of superior guest service.

+ Assist in maintaining up-to-date activity and rate information for each account.

+ Performs other duties assigned.

Key Experience and Education Needed:

+ High school graduate or GED

+ Valid driver's license

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

+ Self-motivated

+ Availability to work some evening, overnight, and/or weekend shifts

+ Good communication skills

+ Ability to meet deadlines and stay on schedule

+ Ability to enforce program requirements

+ Problem-solving abilities

+ Basic computer skills

+ Ability to complete and submit reports
