We are hiring an Event Coordinator for our growing team The Event Coordinator supports the booking, management, and cleanup of events. During the event, a crew member may help supervise event activities. They may also observe attendees and ensure their safety and enjoyment during the event.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day operations of 3 Sisters event business including external events, ARC events, Mountain Movers Theatre Company events, and other Downtown Louisa events.
- Coordinate employees to ensure inventory, delivery, and set up occur for all events as scheduled.
- Serve as the contact point as a vendor for all ARC events, working in conjunction with ARC Communications team.
- Work in conjunction with all entities of MSI to coordinate Downtown Louisa/Inez events, both external and internal to ARC.
- Execute contracts with vendors and clients.
- Measure the success of events and plan for improvements on processes.
- Answer sales inquiries.
- Attend various trade shows and assigned sales trips with accurate follow up reports.
- Communicate client requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required, ensuring delivery of superior guest service.
- Maintain up-to-date activity and rate information for each account.
- Develop policies, processes, and procedures for interfacing between 3 Sisters and all ARC-related entities.
- Performs other duties assigned.
Key Experience and Education Needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Ability to read and interpret instructions
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve
- Valid driver’s license
- Safety awareness
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Maintain a respectful relationship with employees, interns and persons served/clients.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times displaying a professional disposition towards fellow staff.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc. staff and persons served/clients alike.
- Bring policy/personnel issues to supervision as they arise.
- Protect the privacy of all staff and persons served/client information in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s privacy policies, procedures and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principles of professionalism as a healthcare provider. Failure to comply with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s policies and procedures on persons served/client privacy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
- Expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s policies and procedures on persons served/client privacy and any observed practices in violation of the policy to their supervisor.
