Your Role as an Event Management Specialist

We are looking for an Event Management Specialist to enhance our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and post-event activities. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that events run smoothly, while also prioritizing the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of our event business, including various external and internal events.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely inventory management, delivery, and setup for all scheduled events.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all event-related communications, collaborating closely with the ARC Communications team.
  • Work alongside various departments to coordinate events in the community.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts with vendors and clients.
  • Evaluate event success and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Respond to inquiries related to event sales.
  • Participate in trade shows and follow up with detailed reports.
  • Ensure client needs are communicated effectively to all relevant internal teams, delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and rates for each account.
  • Develop and refine policies and procedures for event coordination.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Commitment to safety practices.
