Role Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Compliance Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities according to U.S. GAAP standards. Prepare journal entries and support schedules for content assets, accruals, and amortization. Oversee consolidation of strategic investments and ensure compliance with statutory, U.S. GAAP, and IFRS requirements. Prepare documentation for Korean SOX compliance. Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with Production Finance, FP&A, and legal departments to ensure accuracy of financial information. Assist in responding to requests from internal stakeholders and external auditors. Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects requiring coordination across departments. Analysis and Problem-Solving Conduct account research and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement. Proactively identify and address challenges in the month-end close process. Apply solution-oriented mindset to resolve issues efficiently. Process Improvement and Efficiency Drive process improvements in accounting operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Utilize strong organizational and time-management skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Adapt quickly to new tasks and technologies, including ERP software like SAP, to optimize workflows. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. Minimum of 3-6 years of accounting experience in the entertainment or a related field. Preferably has Big 4 or public accounting experience. Strong communication and organizational skills.
