Responsibilities

  • Ensuring accuracy in billing, payments, and claims.
  • Communicating effectively with insurance companies, clients, and families.
  • Addressing and resolving billing and claims issues.
  • Reviewing and interpreting insurance Explanation of Benefits and financial reports.
  • Using billing software and practice management systems.
  • Understanding verification of benefits, authorizations, and insurance coverage limits.
  • Clear and professional interaction with clients, staff, and payers.
  • Managing multiple tasks and ensuring timely completion of billing activities.
  • Maintaining privacy of sensitive information.
  • Understanding the impact of billing processes on cash flow and receivables management.
  • Prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently.
  • Adjusting to changes in policies, procedures, and technology.
