As a Customer Service Intern, your primary responsibility will be servicing clients who have group events in or at KidZania. This will include a wide variety of types of groups, including but not limited to schools, birthday parties, youth groups, corporations, and other entities.

  • After the initial booking process has been completed by a Group Sales Executive, the intern would help team by being a key group liaison for KidZania in advance of each group's event. This will include external communication to the group leader to confirm all aspects of that group's party including but not limited to the final number of tickets needed, food & beverage orders, directions to the venue, time of the event, chaperone lists, various operational processes and procedures, and other information relevant to that group's party.
  • Serve as the primary internal liaison for KidZania, ensuring all managers such as operations, food and beverage, party hosts, and other key executives are aware of the needs of each group in advance of their event, as appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary day-of-event liaison for each group on behalf of KidZania, welcoming them to the venue and ensuring all aspects of their party are effectively coordinated.
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to all clients.
  • Participate and contribute to weekly sales and operations meetings and discussions.
  • Track all communication with clients in an organized and responsible manner utilizing a professional CRM system
  • Model and reinforce the KidZania expectations of positivity, work ethic, professionalism, respect, and maximizing your potential
  • Assisting with customer service calls
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
  • Must be professional and confident while contacting and communicating with clients, internal co-workers, and external organizations.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Superior oral and written communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Experience using a functional CRM system.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
