You will work closely with marketing, business development, and operations teams to produce high-quality proposals and RFP responses that showcase Joeris' expertise and win construction contracts. Your daily activities will often be deadline-driven, and you will be responsible for driving the proposal development process and producing the final deliverables. Responsible For: Create and prepare appealing and informational proposals in response to Requests for Proposals/Qualifications (RFP/RFQ). Review RFP/RFQ and determine requirements to complete proposal submission. Ensure response meets all RFP/RFQ criteria. Gather information and content from team and consultants as needed. Create and edit informational graphics. Maintain scheduling and tracking status for individual pursuit and proposal elements. Handle final digital or print production and arrange for on-time delivery of proposal. Assist with the facilitation of interview preparation meetings and process. Generate and update presentations and marketing collateral for project interviews and other presentations. Maintain proposal assets and job progress documentation. Gather research data related to clients, competitors, vertical markets, and other relevant factors. Produce and update team resumes and project sheets. Perform additional marketing and administrative tasks at the direction of the Marketing Manager or Director. Assist the Business Development and operations team with other duties as required. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields. Experience with or training in graphic design and page layout. 1-2 years of A/E/C Industry experience recommended. Experience in RFP/RFQ proposal strategy, development, and production recommended. Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). 1-2 years’ experience using InDesign in an academic or professional setting recommended. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Familiarity with cloud-based marketing applications such as Canva and Prezi. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well with various types of people. Critical and Creative Thinking. Technical and Thoughtful Writing. Ability to speak, read, understand, and write in English. Physical Requirements: Must be capable of remaining in a stationary sitting position, occasionally moving about the office; prolonged standing; occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor; bending/reaching; climbing; balancing; bending; stooping; kneeling; crouching; crawling; handling; feeling; talking; hearing; depth perception; visual accommodation; color vision; field of vision; near acuity; far acuity; and strength. Frequent near vision uses for reading and computer use. Ability to lift, move, and transport items weighing 20 lbs. Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Occasionally exposed to noise, dust, heat, and cold. Occasionally work on jobsite with exposure to a variety of extreme conditions: heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, mud, moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, airborne particles, etc. After hours work/travel may be required.
