Hours: FT, In-Person - This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Pay range: $43-46K plus quarterly bonus potential

Benefits: Vacation and personal time, 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance

Location: Kennesaw, GA

Duties and responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for visitors, clients, and applicants. Extend a warm welcome to guests, ensure a hospitable reception, manage the acceptance of deliveries, and facilitate the distribution of packages and correspondence
  • Handle incoming calls and emails with grace. Provide information to potential applicants about job openings, address inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate person
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors, general contractors, and subcontractors by collecting monthly lien waivers, assisting with pay applications, and filing purchase orders
  • Take ownership of administrative duties including, but not limited to, securing permits, placing orders, notarizing documents, and supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and project managers
  • Keep things running smoothly by assisting the Office Manager with ordering office supplies, helping the Controller with accounts payable, and executing general administrative tasks for an office with different working styles and personalities
Qualifications

Education and Certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Commissioned Notary Public or willing to obtain their notary certification
Prior Experience
  • Previous office experience is strongly preferred
Hard Skills
  • Ability to perform basic calculations
  • Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with a working knowledge of formulas
Soft Skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills - verbal, nonverbal, written communication, and active listening
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring every task is completed accurately and thoroughly
  • Self-starter who also understands the importance of following established guidelines and procedures
  • Readily takes on tasks and responsibilities with a sense of urgency
  • Values the organizational structure while not hesitating to ask questions to clarify expectations to ensure that tasks are completed accurately
