Summary The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, engaging and selling new customer business. $8-$10M annually. In addition, management and development of existing accounts, relationship building, customer retention and growth, liaison internal/external between both corporate organizations. $20-30M annual book of business. Develop and/or manage leads resulting in $8-$10M in new business sales annually over 'national coverage' in all industry segments Develop and maintain a diverse and balanced pipeline with at least $20M in new growth opportunity Develop and/or manage existing customer accounts resulting in $20-$30M in business sales annually over "national coverage" in all industry segments Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at the corporate level Full customer management responsibilities from on-boarding Autonomous work ethic Represent 48forty at various tradeshows & industry events, developing network and establishing 48forty as solutions provider Represent 48forty in all facets of professionalism Utilizing solutions, match potential organizational capability to various needs as identified by customer base Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain or other equivalent academic disciplines Formal sales training preferred Minimum of at least three to five years of experience in a national sales position Experience in the Logistics, Industrial Packaging, Transportation, or Pallet/Container industries is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Major / Key or National sales and business development Creative thinking Consultative selling techniques Problem solving and analytical abilities Supply-chain knowledge Superior computer skills and MS Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) are a mandatory requirement Measures: Revenue & volume growth Profitability Contributions to safety in self, environment and workplace Customer retention Customer satisfaction Authority/Decision Making: Prospect/Customer Accounts: Resolving problems to meet customer's satisfaction Presentations Reporting RFP Management Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
