Job DescriptionDevelopment Associate- Gifts & Records- Development/Fundraising-Full-Time Days (Hybrid)Reporting to the Director of Gift Administration, the Development Associate will work with the gift processing team to assist with gift entry, gift acknowledgment, finance deposits and reconciliation, and perform other tasks as it relates to the database and the overall goal of the department.This is a hybrid position, and must be within commutable distance from the midtown office (42nd Street).ResponsibilitiesProcess gifts received by check, credit card, wire, stock, and othersources Import gifts from online platform into fundraising database Scan gifts into workflow for processing Generate tax receipts: merge letters, review information for accuracy, print, stuff, mail and upload letters to database Prepare gifts for deposit by the Finance departments •Answer the main phone line, route calls and respond to inquiries Monitor the gift processing folder and respond to inquiries in a timely manner Assist with database data clean-up - update addresses and salutations, createnew records and other data entry duties Other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor?s Degree or equivalent office experienceMinimum of 2 years? experience working in an office. Preference is given to those with experience working as an administrative assistant in a development office or in nonprofit gift processingCover Letter is requiredComputer Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, etc.) ?
